In a recent special edition for CIOReview, the magazine recognized GrammaTech as one of its “20 Most Promising Defense Technology Solution Providers 2017”. GrammaTech is recognized expert in static analysis, security, software hardening and autonomous computing by the Department of Defense. CIOReview in their evaluation for this award, “analyzed over 300 companies providing Defense Technology and shortlisted 40 companies that are at the forefront of tackling customer challenges.” GrammaTech is honored to be in the top 20 for 2017.
The same issue of CIOReview includes an interview with GrammaTech’s CEO, Tim Tietelbaum. The interview covers the Cyber Grand Challenge, GrammaTech CodeSonar and ushering in a new age of secure code. Describing GrammaTech’s inception in 1988 as “at the forefront of providing innovative code analyzing solutions for securing software and enabling flawless application development lifecycle,” Tim describes how CodeSonar came to be our flagship Static Application Security Testing (SAST) tool. Tim ends the interview with a forecast, “we aim to launch new products based on the experience gained at the Cyber Grand Challenge.”
